Renewable Water Technology

Renewable Water Technology is developing an innovative technology to produce fresh drinking water from seawater using sources of renewable solar energy and/or industrial waste heat. The desalination technology emulates the natural rainfall cycle of evaporation and condensation or, humidification-dehumidification (HDH). The systems incorporate advanced thermal energy management schemes, and enhanced heat and mass transfer processes. Powered by solar energy, the systems can be operated totally off-grid.
